My Sweet Girl

I am very sad to to let you all know that there won't be much knitting here for a while. On Friday November 28 my 2 year old daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia. There are no words to express how we are feeling. If you would like to follow our journey we have set up a website for her at Caringbridge.

You don't know me. I'm a friend of Heather and her sister. I just had to let you know your beautiful daughter Ellie and your family will be in my prayers. I pray the treatment works and Ellie will be able to go home soon as a healthy child.

Thank your for taking the time to post your journey on a website/blog for Ellie. I will read it often.

God Bless

Hi Jess, I am Heather's Mom, and I just wanted to tell you that I am praying for little Ellie. May God bless your family during this time and comfort Ellie by His healing hand.

I came here for a pattern, but I had to say that I am so sorry to hear your news. As a mother to an Ellie myself I can only say that I'm praying for her good health. Stay strong, Mama - we're rooting for you all.

I have been a quiet fan of your work and I was almost brought to tears after reading this post. I saw the beautiful little girl in the pic and smiled...then I read it. I am so sorry that you and your family have to go through this. The only blessing in any of this is that medicine has come such a long way. May she have a swift treatment/recovery and may you and the rest of your family stay strong. God Bless.

I love your patterns and was coming here to get the pattern for the moms cabled scarf, and i read the recent post. I am so sorry. I will have you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I cant even begin to imagine what you and your family are going through. I have 3 of my own and cant even imagine this happening to them. I wish strength for you and your family!

I found you through Ravelry and I want to tell you I'll be praying for you and your daughter. My granddaughter was born with Neuroblastoma, stage4s. She is now 9 years old and the light of my life. God is good and he strengthens us daily.
I'll be back to visit your blog, I do enjoy it.
God Bless
